This meeting took place just before Modi's scheduled meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, drawing attention due to its timing and setting. The gathering of these influential figures in front of the American flag has led some observers to draw parallels to a high-level summit.

Modi’s meeting with Musk focused on a variety of critical topics, including space, technology, and innovation. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Indian Prime Minister shared details of their conversation, stating that they had discussed India’s ongoing reforms under the theme “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance,” and their efforts to modernize the country’s governmental systems. The post included a photo of the meeting, which showcased the two figures seated against the backdrop of the national flags of both India and the United States.
